New think tank highlights SCM

The work of new think tank, FORSYN 2021, had kick off this week. Evenex participates in FORSYN 2021 which aims at providing answers on future supply chain management in Danish companies.

Important to contribute

Holding positions as Supply Chain Executive in Evenex and senior lecturer on the MBA Program at University of Southern Denmark, Mr. Søren Seerup is one of nine members. Mr. Seerup draws on extensive supply chain management and IT knowledge from previous management positions in companies such as Ferrosan, Gumlink Food and Olicom. 

‘Danish companies face serious challenges in the future. They need innovative work utilizing new models and solutions that may add to a successful journey of increased competition and change of circumstances,’says Søren Seerup and continues: ‘That’s why we find it important that Evenex contributes to ambitious and professional initiatives such as FORSYN 2021.’

World’s best solutions

The title playing with the Danish equivalents to ‘supply’ and ‘providence’, the idea of FORSYN 2021 think tank is to create a clear vision of how to best deal with future challenges. The purpose is to start processes and activities that contribute to collecting knowledge and innovative ideas for Danish companies being concerned about supply chain management.

FORSYN 2021 will publish a report during late summer 2012. The report will include a number of 10 years scenarios providing a basis for Danish corporations and political institutions to designing the world’s best supply chain solutions.
